Acceptable Use Policy

Effective: 8 May 2026 Version: 1.0

By using the Lumaa Service ("Service"), you ("Client") agree to this Acceptable Use Policy. It is incorporated into the Terms of Service by reference. Violations may result in suspension or termination per the escalation schedule below.

Prohibited content & purposes

  1. Place outbound calls without a lawful basis under UAE PDPL Art. 4 — typically prior consent, contractual necessity, or a legitimate-interest assessment on file.
  2. Place calls to numbers on the UAE TRA / TDRA Do-Not-Call list, or to numbers where the recipient has previously requested no further contact (the Service enforces this; circumvention attempts terminate the account).
  3. Place calls between 21:00 and 09:00 local time of the callee, except where the callee has explicitly opted in to such hours.
  4. Use the AI to impersonate a human without first disclosing the automated nature of the call (see Recording & AI Disclosure).
  5. Use the AI to impersonate a real person (deepfake voice cloning of a named individual) without that person's documented written consent.
  6. Use the Service to deliver content illegal under UAE law (incitement to hatred, terrorism financing, fraud, gambling promotion, content infringing on third-party IP).
  7. Use the Service to send marketing communications without including a clear opt-out mechanism that the AI honours immediately.
  8. Knowingly upload lead lists obtained through scraping, illegal data brokers, or breaches.
  9. Bypass, attempt to bypass, or assist others in bypassing rate limits, authentication, or technical safeguards.
  10. Reverse-engineer, decompile, or scrape the Lumaa platform.
